Chasen - Hachijuppondate

A traditional whisk for preparing matcha tea. It is made of light bamboo. The Chasen is Hyappondate (百本立), or 100 whiskers (from Japanese), thanks to which you can beautifully froth the matcha powder. We recommend this Chasen for intermediate-level people.

Worth knowing:
Before use, Chasen should be soaked in warm water for a while (this will make the whiskers pliable).
Do not wash in a dishwasher or use detergents.
It is recommended to wash and dry the Chasen thoroughly after each use (it is best to place it on a stand to maintain the Chasen's shape).
